Grand Traverse Pie Company

There was once a time when Grand Traverse Pie Company owners, Mike & Denise Busley, knew little about making pie. After some inspiration and learning from Liz Smothers of Julian Pie Company in Julian, California these Michigan natives opened Grand Traverse Pie Company in downtown Traverse City in 1996. Today, they have 15 Grand Traverse Pie shops across Michigan and Indiana. Their vision is to spread the love of pie throughout everything they do and make. Created with care to order, their delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items are made from fresh ingredients.

It all started with a passionate dream and a borrowed barrel of sugar on June 17, 1875.
